Nile Rodgers says he will collaborate with Adam Lambert in 2014

Nile Rodgers has confirmed that he will work again with Adam Lambert this year.

The two music stars have enjoyed a fruitful relationship over the last couple of years, with the guitarist appearing on Lambert's 2012 record 'Trespassing'.

The duo also appeared on Avicii's 'Lay Me Down' last year, which received rave reviews.

Rodgers was asked on Twitter if he will be working again with Lambert in 2014, with the axeman responding:

"I'll collabo w @AdamLambert for sure!"

Lambert meanwhile is expected to release his third solo album this coming year.

He recently covered Jimi Hendrix's 'Red House' at a New Year's Eve gig in the US - check out a video of the performance here.
