Haim reveal band New Year's resolution: 'We're all ready for something new'

'Forever' rockers Haim have opened up about their goals for the twelve months ahead.

Speaking to Rolling Stone magazine, the 'Days Are Gone' stars explained that they're ready to find new passions and new sources of inspiration to bring to their music:

"Our New Year's resolution is to discover new things, go to new places and get inspired by different kinds of music. We've had the craziest year, and now we're at the point where we're ready for something new. We're excited about it."

Alana Haim added that Kanye West's latest album, entitled 'Yeezus' has influenced her significantly and she considers it to be a "masterpiece" of a release: "It's a f**king masterpiece. I have yet to see Kanye not put out an amazing record – and people don't understand how hard that is."

"To make record after record and come out with something new and push the boundaries and have it succeed every single time is insane. If I could choose any brain to just chill in, for, like, 10 minutes, it'd be Kanye's. I just want to see what goes on up there. Because he's a genius."

Este Haim joked that her own personal resolution is to "use my exercise bike more".
