Mark Wahlberg has quipped that he will beat up "little pr*ck" Harry Styles because his children are more interested in the One Direction star than their own father.

The Hollywood actor made the joke whilst appearing on Conan O'Brien's chat show on Thursday (January 9).

The Transformers man said that much to his annoyance, his young kids are more keen on One Direction than his own film career.

He said: "My four-year-old’s going, ‘Daddy, I like Harry’. And I’m like, ‘Well I’m gonna punch Harry in the nose when I see him'.

Wahlberg added: "If I see that little pr*ck, he’s gonna get it."

The actor added, in more serious tones, that he hopes to one day to introduce the band to his children.
