Miley Cyrus and Britney Spears videos too racy for French daytime TV

Two Miley Cyrus and Britney Spears videos have been banned from French daytime TV because of their apparent sexual content.

French media watchdog CSA have confirmed that Cyrus's 'Wrecking Ball' and Spears' 'Work B*tch' clips shouldn't be shown in the country before 10pm.

They report that 'Wrecking Ball' is too saucy whilst 'Work B*tch' is a "a sadomasochistic universe representing women in a way that risks shocking many viewers".

The former is one of the internet's biggest music videos, with the clip currently having around 473 million hits on YouTube.

'Work B*tch' has roughly 70.8 million views to its name on the streaming website.

Both acts meanwhile teamed up last year for the first time for Cyrus's track 'SMS (Bangerz)'.
