Macklemore & Ryan Lewis gave some public transport passengers a somewhat different trip to work recently after they performed on bus.

The rap duo surprised onlookers on a bus in New York City for a special Grammys video.

They are seen causing some curious looks among the passengers as the pair step onto the bus and start a backing track.

Macklemore then raps away to the song 'Can't Hold Us', with the passengers soon getting into the swing of things by clapping along.

The bus driver at one point is even seen clapping at the wheel.

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis are due to perform at this year's Grammy Awards, which are taking place on January 26 in Los Angeles.

They are nominated seven times in categories such as Song of the Year and Best Rap Song.
