Actor William H. Macy has revealed that he recently took his 13-year-old daughter Sophia to a One Direction concert, but was left feeling a little disappointed by their performance. 

While he confessed to being impressed by the heartthrobs' vocal abilities, he told 'Live with Kelly and Michael' that they were a bit sloppy while on stage and that member Harry Styles was casually eating a sandwich during their show:

"(He was eating) a sandwich while two of his guys were singing. I mean call me old-fashioned, but when I'm downstage singing my heart out, you better not eat a sandwich behind me."

He also slammed the lads' wardrobe changes in their live set, adding that all they did was switch from "crappy jeans and stupid T-shirt (to) another pair of crappy jeans and stupid T-shirt".

Despite being put off by these antics, Macy added that One Direction are a great boyband overall although they are carried by their singing talent: "They're very talented. [But] they couldn't put on a good show with a gun to their head."
