British funnyman Russell Brand has opened up about his new romance with Jemima Khan during an interview with Jonathan Ross and confessed that it's unlike any previous experience. 

Speaking to the TV host, he explained that it can't even be compared to his relationship with pop superstar Katy Perry and is more wrapped up in the areas of 'friendship and love' than anything else:

"I’m very, very happy in a relationship that feels very different from anything I’ve experienced before."

"I feel more like it’s grounded in friendship and love."

He added of Khan: "She's a gorgeous, beautiful woman. I'm still superficial, don't get me wrong. I still only go out with top crumpet.”

Last year, Perry explained to Marie Claire magazine that the end of her marriage to Brand was devastating: "There were two weeks of my life after I found out the truth of my marriage where I was like, 'OK. All right. I can't feel this. This is too intense right now.' I was, like, just eating Flamin' Hot Cheetos and drinking, and that's it."
