Police deny suggestion that Justin Bieber's house was a "drug pad"

Police have poured cold water on speculation that they found a large amount of drugs and drug paraphernalia at Justin Bieber's house.

The authorities searched the singer's Los Angeles home recently as part of an investigation into the star's alleged egg-throwing.

They took some surveillance tapes, but they also went away with Bieber's friend Lil Za, who was arrested on drug possession charges.

A report recently emerged that cops apparently saw 'cookie jars filled with marijuana', a dedicated smoking room and empty codeine bottles.

However, Lt. David Thompson confirmed that this was not the case. He said:

"I didn’t see any of it. The house was orderly. It didn’t look like a drug pad. I did not see any empty codeine bottles. I didn’t smell weed.”

The cop added: "Nobody had time to flush anything. It was orderly. Nobody ran. Nobody took an excessive amount of time to contact us."
