Clean Bandit on course to top UK singles chart

Clean Bandit could land their first UK No.1 this weekend.

The Official Charts Company have confirmed that the group are currently at the top of the UK singles chart today (January 22) with the track 'Rather Be'.

It has sold nearly 94,000 copies so far this week and it is set to become the fastest selling single of the year so far.

At No.2 on the midweek update is fellow entry 'Wild Heart' by The Vamps, meaning that Pharrell's 'Happy' has dropped two places to No.3.

Neon Jungle's 'Braveheart' is No.4 whilst Pitbull and Ke$ha's 'Timber' is No.5.

The Vamps' debut single 'Can We Dance' meanwhile - which hit No.2 last year - has risen seven places to No.40.
