William Orbit criticises Will.i.am's production of Britney Spears' album

William Orbit has spoken out about Will.i.am’s production skills on Britney Spears’ latest album ‘Britney Jean’.

The former Black Eyed Pea served as executive producer on Spears’ current record and William Orbit, who wrote the track ‘Alien’, has voiced criticisms of will.i.am’s work on the song he penned.

Ahead of the release of ‘Britney Jean’ an unedited version of ‘Alien’ was leaked but the final cut used on the album features auto-tuned vocals and a jump in the track.

Orbit took to Twitter saying:

“Remember 'Glitchgate'? I assure you all that there will.be.no more glitches”.

He followed this comment up with two further tweets stating, “One day the story will.be.told But right now, the future is far too bright to look back” and, “If yr familiar my workings over the years, u'll know I'm usually in a position to intercept rogue glitches before they land”.

The producer said last year that Britney Spears’ vocals do not require auto-tune.
