Roger Daltrey wants to reunite Oasis for Teenage Cancer Trust show

The Who's Roger Daltrey has revealed that he would love to reunite Oasis for a charity gig.

The rock veteran is the curator of the Teenage Cancer Trust's live shows and he has been working with Noel Gallagher over the past two years on the project.

Speaking to The Sun, Daltrey said that he would be keen on trying to get the defunct Manchester icons Oasis to reunite for one of his shows - perhaps next year.

He said: "Noel and Liam are brothers so it will all be alright. Don't worry. Blood is thicker than music. Could I bring them together for a Teenage Cancer Trust show? Ask me next year."

This year's Teenage Cancer Trust gigs will take place at London's Royal Albert Hall between March 24-30. The schedule is as follows:

  • Ed Sheeran (March 24)
  • An evening of comedy with Jason Manford, John Bishop, Micky Flanagan, Patrick Kielty, Rob Beckett and Hal Cruttenden (25)
  • Paolo Nutini (26)
  • OneRepublic (27)
  • The Cure (29)
  • Suede: 'Dog Man Star' 20th Anniversary (30)
