Lianne La Havas has admitted that having Prince hold a press conference and a live session in her home was an extraordinary experience.

The US icon appeared at the British singer's London home earlier this week to mark the start of a series of guerilla gigs in and around the city this month.

La Havas hosted a press conference in her house as a result of their friendship and she told the Daily Star: 

"It's been a weird few hours but a lot of fun. They put amplified equipment in my lounge. Prince came, conquered and left. It was like a storm had hit."

Speaking meanwhile about Prince's vision, La Havas added: "His plan is music and music alone. He just wants to play and promote his new band and make a name for them."

The musician is in Britain to promote his upcoming new record 'PlectrumElectrum', which was created with his 3rdEyeGirl group.

He has played twice at London's Electric Ballroom this week.
