The Vamps offer Valentine's Day advice

Rising stars The Vamps have given their fans some relationship advice as Valentine's Day approaches.

Speaking to Capital FM radio, the heartthrobs explained that it doesn't matter if you can't find a date because there will always be one woman you can take out in the form of your mother.

The lads explained cheekily: "Don't stress if you can't find a date for Valentine's, you can always take your mum out. It'll make you look in touch with your feelings... just make sure that it's your mum!"

The 'Can We Dance' stars also confirmed details of their debut headlining UK tour earlier this morning (February 12) and will hit the road in September for a run of dates that will finish on October 15 in London. Tickets will go on general sale from April 26.

Last night marked the end of their tour with Taylor Swift, who they had been supporting on her brief O2 Arena residency, and they shared a tweet with their followers to publicly thank her for being so great each night along with a photograph of themselves posing with her: "That's the nicest we've ever been treated on tour! Thankyou so much for having us! See ya soon @taylorswift13 and co!"
