British teen played Adele's music so 'intrusively' loudly that magistrates confiscated his CDs

A British teenager has had his CD collection confiscated by police after blasting music so loudly that it shook parts of his neighbour's house.

18-year-old Thomas Alcock had over 200 CDs taken by magistrates following an incident in which he played singer Adele's music at a 'prominent, intrusive and very high level'.

He was issued a noise abatement order and Prosecutor Samantha Lawton explained that it was so loud that it vibrated through to his neighbour's home: "The music was very loud and they could identify the singer as Adele. The music was so loud it was vibrating the handrails to the stairwell.”

Alcock has since been forced to pay a £110 fine, £140 costs and £20 victim surcharge.

Adele's cover of Bob Dylan's 'Make You Feel My Love' has just been named the most romantic song in a new scientific study conducted by Spotify and a neuroscientist.
