Nick Grimshaw favourite to become next BRITs host

Nick Grimshaw is currently the bookies' favourite to succeed James Corden as host of the BRIT Awards.

The actor presided over his fifth and final ceremony last night (February 19) in London and he will now pass on the baton.

BBC Radio 1's Grimshaw, who kissed Corden on stage at the ceremony, is currently the odds-on favourite with William Hill to become the new host.

He has odds of 2/1, whilst Emma Willis - who Corden has himself championed - is 3/1.

Jack Whitehall is 5/1, One Direction's Harry Styles is 6/1 and Corden is 8/1 to actually renege on his promise and return.

William Hill spokesperson Rupert Adams commented: "Things are looking grim for us as 70% of bets have been for Nick Grimshaw & almost all the rest for James Cordon to return."
