Rudimental on BRIT-winning single 'Waiting All Night': 'We put our careers on the line with that song'

Hitmakers Rudimental, who picked up the British Single prize at last night's BRITs for 'Waiting All Night', have opened up about the song that scored them the impressive title and confessed that it was a make or break release.

Speaking to press after their well-deserved BRITs win, the stars explained that the single came at a really crucial time: "It's a special track for us because it came out just before our album came out, so it kind of fuelled the hype, also Ella did a great vocal performance on it. It came at a time when we'd worked really hard on tour."

DJ Locksmith added to Huw Stephens that Rudimental had a lot riding on the release and subsequent success of the song in the music industry, so they feel incredibly lucky that it worked out in their favour:

"I'll tell you something that's really special about 'Waiting All Night' is that everyone was against us putting it out there. All four of us came together and put our careers on the line with 'Waiting All Night' and it got us where we are now."
