A host of new names including Katy B and Boy George have been announced for this year's Isle of Wight Festival.

This year's shindig is due to take place over June 12-15 and Biffy Clyro, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Kings of Leon are due to headline.

Katy B, Boy George, Tom Odell, Suede, Fall Out Boy and Alison Moyet have all now been announced to play the festival.

The Pretty Reckless, Ella Eyre, Starsailor, The Struts and Anna Calvi have also been confirmed.

Speaking about the news, Tom Odell commented: "When I was a bit younger, I used to climb up on the hill near to where I grew up and stare at the Isle of Wight. I remember knowing that a grand music festival was held on the island every year, and I dreamed at some point I would be there, playing. That day has come and I am thrilled."

Some other acts confirmed for the festival include Calvin Harris, Rudimental and The Vamps.
