Jake Shears: 'I want to do a Scissor Sisters and Kylie Minogue collaboration album'

Scissor Sisters star Jake Shears has revealed that he wants to create a collaborative album between his band and Australian pop songstress Kylie Minogue

During a new interview with Attitude magazine, Shears explained that working with Minogue has always been great and he would love to combine her talent with that of the Scissor Sisters and make a joint record:

"I love writing with her and always have. I’m really proud of all the songs I’ve written with her and I think someday I’m gonna, like, put together a Scissors-Kylie record."

"There’s a whole album’s worth of music. It’s from over the years. There’s some really cool stuff that no-one has heard. We could definitely put together a fun little album. Someday I’m gonna be shifty and leak it."

Shears, meanwhile, recently made a guest appearance on 'The Voice UK' to help out Minogue with mentoring some of the contestants that made it through the first stages of the popular vocal competition.
