Richard Branson: 'Lady Gaga space show is going to be the most exciting thing I've done in my life'

Sir Richard Branson believes that putting Lady Gaga into space for a performance will be the "most exciting" thing he's ever done.

The successful businessman is due to launch Virgin Galactic next year as commercial space travel becomes a reality.

Lady Gaga is set to become the first recording artist to perform in space in 2015 as she hops on the Galactic flight.

Branson was asked by Digital Spy today (March 7) at the We Day event in London if he was excited for the Gaga show, with the Virgin man responding:

"Of course. It's going to be the most exciting thing I've done in my life. I've got a feeling she'll find [an outfit] that's pretty good."

Gaga won't be the first person ever to perform in space, however. Astronaut Chris Hadfield recorded a cover of David Bowie's 'Space Oddity' whilst on the International Space Station last year and its video became a YouTube smash.
