X Factor contestant Tamera Foster secures Syco record deal

Former X Factor contestant Tamera Foster has been signed by Simon Cowell’s record label Syco Music.

Tamera Foster made it to the live shows of the tenth series of the X Factor which was eventually won by Sam Bailey.

During her time on the X Factor Tamera was mentored by Nicole Scherzinger but was eliminated ahead of the show’s semi-final round.

Despite not winning the X Factor Foster has landed herself a record deal with Syco – a joint entertainment venture between Simon Cowell and Sony.

Speaking about her singing with Syco Music, Tamera Foster has stated:

“I am so excited about being given this opportunity. I’m having an amazing time on tour but even more now, because I know straight after I can get into the studio and start to work on some new music for everyone who supports me! I’m very very lucky to have this chance as my first ever job and I’ve got so much to look forward to this year, exciting times ahead!”

Syco Music’s Managing Director, Sonny Takhar, has said: “We are thrilled that Tamera has chosen Syco Music as her label home, she is a bonafide star!”

Other artists currently signed to Syco Music include One Direction, Little Mix and Leona Lewis.
