Kodaline says Harry Styles collaboration "worked out well"

Kodaline have revealed that their recent songwriting session with Harry Styles went "well".

As previously reported, the One Direction man recently visited the Irish band in a US studio to work on a new track.

Speaking to The Sun, Kodaline's Mark Prendergast said that the collaboration came about after the 'Kiss You' man came to one of their shows.

He said: "He came along to one of our gigs, then showed up at another in LA. We ended up going into the studio - I can't remember who suggested it but it worked out well."

Prendergast added that Styles was down to earth during the whole process, saying:

"He's a nice lad, just normal. There was no big entourage or airs or graces or any of that, he really just wanted to make some music."

Kodaline meanwhile released their debut album 'In a Perfect World' last year and it reached No.3 in the UK.
