5 Seconds of Summer are in pole position to hit No.1 on the UK singles chart this weekend.

The Australian group recently released their first UK single 'She Looks So Perfect' and the Official Charts Company's midweek update shows that it is currently No.1.

It is outselling the current No.2 - Faul & Wad Ad's 'Changes' - by two copies to one.

At No.3 meanwhile in the midweek update is Duke Dumont's 'I Got U', whilst No.4 is Martin Garrix and Jay Hardway with their track 'Wizard'.

Route 94's Jess Glynne collaboration 'My Love' completes the midweek update's top five.

It's a disappointing week, however, for Chris Brown, whose new single 'Loyal' has only managed to reach No.40.
