Brian Littrell says Spice Girls are scared of the Backstreet BoysBackstreet Boys' Brian Littrell has joked that the Spice Girls are scared of his band. The singer made the comment on Instagram after he was allegedly quoted by The Sun saying that his group were in discussions about touring the world with the UK girl group. However, the idea of the pop tour was later dismissed by a rep for the Backstreet Boys. Littrell has now quipped that the Spice Girls are actually, in fact, afraid of his band. The singer said: "So I think the GIRLS are afraid of the BOYS...That's why they won't take the stage. #SPICEGIRLS #BSB#BOYSvsGIRLS just sayin." The Spice Girls haven't performed live since they reunited for a one-off show at the London 2012 Olympic Games. The Backstreet Boys meanwhile are set to perform in the UK in April. Their first date comes at Glasgow's Hydro venue on April 3, with further shows planned for London and Manchester. Watch the Backstreet Boys in action below:
