L'Wren Scott leaves £5.4m fortune to Mick Jagger

L'Wren Scott has left her entire fortune to Mick Jagger, it has widely been reported.

The New York Post says court papers confirm that the 49-year-old fashion designer, who committed suicide in her Manhattan apartment on March 17, has left $9m (£5.4m) to her boyfriend Jagger.

The 49-year-old gave her $8m (£4.8m) apartment to the Rolling Stones singer, as well as $1m (£600,828) in other valuables.

Scott's will reads: "I give all my jewelry, clothing, household furniture and furnishings, personal automobiles, and other tangible articles of a personal nature, or my interest in any such property, not otherwise specifically disposed of by this will or any other matter together with my insurance on the property, to Michael Philip Jagger. I give the rest and residue of my estate to my Michael Philip Jagger."

Jagger meanwhile was on hand to say goodbye to Scott at her private funeral on Tuesday (March 25) at the Hollywood Forever Funeral Home.

A spokesperson said that Jagger, who dated the fashion designer since 2001, and Scott's brother Randy Bambrough read "memories and words of tribute".

A poem was also shared by Jagger's daughter Karis, while his daughter Jade and grandchildren Mazie and Zak also read psalms.
