Rachel Stevens has given birth to her second child.

The 35-year-old singer and her husband Alex Bourne welcomed another daughter into the world on Tuesday (April 1).

It is the couple's second child following the birth of Amelie in 2010. Their new baby, who weighed in at 7lb 7oz, is yet to be named.

Bourne revealed the news on Twitter, saying: "Delighted to announce the safe arrival of our gorgeous little girl! @MsRachelStevens and baby both really well. Amelie happy and ‘cited."

The duo added in a statement: "We’re so happy that baby has arrived safely. Within minutes of meeting her we were totally smitten. Amelie is happy and ‘cited to have a little sister to play with and we can’t wait to introduce her to the whole family.”
