Peaches Geldof dies aged 25

It has been reported by the BBC that Peaches Geldof, 25, has been found dead.

The British Broadcasting Corporation explained that "police were called to an address near Wrotham, Kent following a report of concern for the welfare of a woman on Monday afternoon", and she was later pronounced dead by South East Coast Ambulance Service.

A statement has been issued from Kent Police, which reads: "At this stage, the death is being treated as unexplained and sudden."

Last night (April 6), Peaches shared a photo via Instagram and Twitter (@peaches_g) of herself as a toddler with her late mother, Paula Yates, and captioned the image with the sentence: "Me and my mum."

Peaches Geldof, the daughter of Bob Geldof, was married to musician Thomas Cohen and they had two sons together Astala, one, and Phaedra, who will turn one on April 24. Peaches lost her mother, Paula Yates, back in September 2000 following a drug overdose.

Peaches' father, Bob, has issued a statement on the tragic news and he explained: "Peaches has died. We are beyond pain. She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and most bonkers of all of us."

Her husband, Cohen, added: "My beloved wife Peaches was adored by myself and her two sons..."
