Laura Whitmore has admitted that she is "sick" of speculation linking her to Niall Horan.

The TV presenter has regularly been the subject of romance rumours associating her with the One Direction singer.

The fellow Ireland native, however, told the Irish Independent that she is "bored" of the constant speculation - gossip which is way off the mark.

Whitmore said: "To be honest, those rumours have been going on for two years now and I'm so sick of them. It makes it harder if you are actually going out with someone else and to be honest, I just got bored of it after a while."

She added: “I was like, ‘Whatever. People can believe what they want to believe'. No matter how many times I say it, they say the opposite. I ignore it."

Whitmore previously went on record to say that she and Horan are "just friends".
