Actress Kate Mara (shown left), known for her roles in 'House of Cards' and 'American Horror Story', has revealed that she has an 'embarrassing' crush on One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles.

During a recent interview with Jimmy Kimmel in the USA, the 31-year-old beauty confessed that she can't believe she finds him so attractive because he's so much younger than her: "I mean, have you seen Harry Styles' face?"

"He's young, it's embarrassing. I feel like with Harry I'd play it cool, but I'd turn into a 14 year-old."

Mara has since posted a screenshot from her iPhone to her official Twitter page, which shows that Styles now follows her and she captioned it with the cute hashtag: "#dreamsreallydocometrue."

Earlier this month, The Vamps opened up about their celebrity crushes and member Connor Ball admitted that after seeing Mara on a night out at the same bar he was smitten. 

Styles, meanwhile, took to his official Twitter page earlier this afternoon (April 11) and told his followers that he's very grateful for their support over the past 4 years of his incredible career and tweeted: "Thank you for everything the last 4 years... Couldn't be more amazed by what you've done for us. H xx"
