Jared Leto and Rihanna were among the winners at this year's MTV Movie Awards.

A host of Hollywood names appeared at the awards ceremony on Sunday (April 13) as MTV celebrated the best in cinema.

30 Seconds to Mars singer Leto bagged the Best On-Screen Transformation prize for his role as an Aids sufferer in Dallas Buyers Club.

Rihanna collected the Best Cameo Performance for her short part in This Is The End.

The singer also performed on the night with Eminem as they ran through their 2013 single 'The Monster'.

Backstreet Boys, Jay Baruchel, Seth Rogen and Craig Robinson bagged the Best Musical Moment award for their performance of 'Heaven' in This Is The End.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire won Movie of the Year, whilst the film's Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson won the Best Female Performance and Best Male Performance prizes respectively.
