X Factor's Rough Copy sign record deal with Epic and announce debut single

X Factor stars Rough Copy have inked a record deal with Epic.

The trio, who found fame as finalists on the 2013 series of the UK TV talent show, confirmed the news on Facebook.

They will release their first single 'Street Love' on June 29 and it appears the group will tour the UK soon.

They wrote on Facebook: "The wait is over. Since the X Factor show finished, we have been inundated by our supporters (Roughians) asking one question, 'When are you going to release a single?'. We are really proud to announce that Rough Copy have been signed to the Sony Label - Epic and have recorded their first single 'Street Love' which will released 29th June 2014.

"We've kept it 'Sweet but Street!'. If you can't wait that long then keep your eyes open for for the video edits that will be out soon. We are so grateful to have been given this opportunity to create music because this is our love and passion. Being able to do so on the label that was the home of Michael Jackson is a dream come true especially for me (DopeBoy)".

"We have now done our part and created the music, but for this project to work we need all the 'Roughians' out there to get behind the track; lets go all the way with this one, spread the word. To all the new @roughians joining our journey, we look forward to meeting you along the way as we plan to be visiting many cities and towns over the next couple of months bringing you the full Rough Copy experience. Love you all for your continuous support."
