Alexa Goddard has unveiled the lyric video for her next single.

The British singer is set to unleash the song 'Marilyn' as her maiden major label track in July.

Today (April 22) she uploaded a lyric video for the tune ahead of the single's full release.

She wrote: "Thank you guys for all of your support for so long! I am super excited to say...here is the lyric video for my first official single 'Marilyn' - available to buy very soon!"

Goddard rose to fame after covering R&B songs on YouTube, with her version of Soulja Boy's 'Turn My Swag On' reaching No.20 in the UK singles chart in 2010.

She has since signed to Island/Universal Music.
