Olly Murs and Arctic Monkeys land Ivor Novello nominations

Olly Murs and Arctic Monkeys are among the acts who have bagged nominations for this year's Ivor Novello Awards.

The ceremony is due to take place at London's Grosvenor House on May 22 as the cream of British songwriting is celebrated.

Murs' 'Troublemaker', which was written by the singer, Claude Kelly and Steve Robson, is up for the PRS for Music Most Performed Work prize.

He will face off against Emeli Sandé ('Clown') and Passenger ('Let Her Go') in the category.

Other nominees include Arctic Monkeys' 'AM' (Album Award), Everything Everything's 'Kemosabe' (Best Contemporary Song) and The Thirteenth Tale (Best Television Soundtrack).
