'Birthday' songstress Katy Perry has revealed that she has been involved in every aspect of the planning and production for her upcoming 'Prismatic' tour. 

Speaking to 97.1 AMP Radio, the beauty confessed that she never takes a backseat and just turns up to perform, and instead is incredibly hands on with every decision and design issue because she loves to bring her own ideas to life:

"I’m just kind of getting into the mindset. We’ve been working on this tour, we’ve been in production for about three months, but we’ve been planning it for about a year…There’s so many different moving parts. I’m not just someone that walks in with a latte and goes, ‘Okay!’ I’m always a part of every moving part and it can get a little overwhelming, but I think the end result is going to be very exciting for everyone to see."

When asked if it's true that she quit alcohol in order to condition her body for the run of dates, Perry admitted that she isn't entirely teetotal although she has cut right back on drinking: "I did for awhile, but I always hit the bottle late! I only drink once a week. I love a bit of champagne, darling!"
