Miranda Lambert has revealed her desire to collaborate with Beyoncé.

The country star is a big name, but she told People that she is in fact "too nervous" to approach the US icon because she is such a big fan.

When asked about who she would like to work with in the future, Lambert said:

"Kelly Clarkson is a friend of mine. And I'm a huge Beyoncé fan, but I would never dare tread that water because I'd be too nervous."

The singer added that she feels today's society is too dependent on electronic gadgets, saying:

"I do have trouble putting down [my iPhone], but I'm getting better about it. I think it's important to take a minute and breathe: no TV, no computer, no iPhone, no iPad. You have so many gadgets today, and everyone is over stimulated all the time."
