Country songstress Miranda Lambert has revealed that while she is the outspoken, ballsy girl her songs make her out to be there is a softer side to her as well, and she's starting to show it. 

Speaking to Billboard magazine about this new phase in her career and life, the 'House That Built Me' beauty admitted that she's not just a tough chick and hopes that's beginning to come through:

"Hey, I have this other side. I love pink and puppies, too. That is who I am. I'm just a Texas girl that speaks her mind, and sometimes that gets me in trouble."

"With success, I've been able to sort of calm that down and go, 'OK, I don't have to be guns a-blazin' all the time. People are listening, so I can open up my softer side and show people who the whole Miranda is.'" 

Lambert also opened up about her recent weight loss and confessed that she doesn't understand why people were so interested in her changing figure, adding: "It just feels like you can't do anything for yourself anymore. Have you ever thought I might just be turning 30 and trying to get a little ahead of the game? Isn't that just a normal thing to do?"
