The judging panel for the latest series of The X Factor has confirmed another name.

Joining Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole will be X Factor veteran Louis Walsh.

This will be the Irish music manager’s eleventh consecutive series of the TV talent show.

Louis Walsh confirmed the news to The Sun newspaper. He said:

“It is all sorted. I am coming back. I just have to sign the contract.”

Under 61-year-old Louis’ mentoring, Shayne Ward went on to win The X Factor in 2005. Other memorable acts that Walsh has mentored during his time on the show have included Irish twins Jedward and boy band JLS.
