Michael Jackson's brother: 'He would have loved the hologram performance at the Billboard Awards'

Jackie, the older brother of the late King of Pop, has given his opinion on Michael Jackson's holographic appearance at last night's (May 18) Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas.

The 'Thriller' superstar died back in 2009, but was there in spirit at the ceremony yesterday after a hologram of Jackson performed 'Slave To The Rhythm' for the audience. Jackie has now revealed to People magazine that his brother would have approved:

"I've been hearing about the hologram, and people were talking about it, but to see it with my own eyes was incredible, amazing. When he got up and started walking around 'oh, my God'. When he started dancing, unbelievable. It took me back. If Michael were here he would say thumbs up!"

Jackson added: "It's so important to experience Michael Jackson in a live setting. This is something where we wanted a live performance in front of a live audience and nothing speaks to that more than an awards show."
