Sam Smith on style: 'All men wear make-up, it's 2014'

'Money On My Mind' hitmaker Sam Smith has opened up about his sense of style in a new interview with MTV News and confessed that he wears concealer and neutral make-up.

He explained that he suffers from rosacea, which is a skin condition that causes redness, and explained that he's happy for his make-up artist to help him cover up and fix his problem areas:

"All men wear make-up, it’s 2014, it’s fine. I personally have rosacea, but my make-up artist is great at sorting it out."

The hitmaker continued: "My main beauty essential is my fragrance though; Bleu de Chanel, and people now say it reminds them of me. I like that.”

Smith went onto add that on top of his busy touring schedule, he is also creating some exciting new merchandise designs: "I’m working on some merchandise designs and the new pieces will be coming out soon. I’ve got a new logo and I just want to concentrate on building my brand – music, fashion, everything.”
