The father of One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles has revealed that he's incredibly 'proud' of him following his recent run of concerts at Dublin's Croke Park and was happy to have caught the show. 

Last night, Des Styles posted a message via his official Twitter page and told his followers that watching the young singer on stage in front of thousands of fans was an amazing experience and he also saw footage of Harry's goal during bandmate Niall Horan's charity football challenge:

"Back from Dublin. Truly great weekend, love Ireland. Saw video of H's goal today - what a strike! Proud dad again! Sorry not there. Was excited about the time we had, sorry. Should've said the show itself was awesome! Wherever in the world, you're in for a treat. Enjoy! X"

Styles also shared a Twitter update after the Croke Park concerts and thanked fans for the support: "Croke Park and Dublin, thank you for having us. Thank you to everyone who came to the shows, you were incredible. Hope to see you again."
