Cheryl Cole has confessed that she struggles with reading books.

The Girls Aloud star – who is poised to make her solo musical comeback – spoke to HELLO! magazine about her failed attempts to finish a book.

Cheryl explained: “I don't have the attention span to read a book.”

On the titles she has failed to finish she said: “I recently tried to read a biography of Michael Jackson and lasted 16 pages. And I tried to read 'Fifty Shades of Grey' and lasted 20 pages. I just get bored too easily - even with that one!''

Rather than reading books the ‘Call My Name’ singer shared her favourite way to spend her free time:

“'I know it sounds boring, but being at home on the sofa watching telly with popcorn and my dogs.”

The Newcastle singer’s new single, ‘Crazy Stupid Love’ featuring Tinie Tempah, will receive it’s radio debut tomorrow (June 2) and will be released on July 20.
