Country star Miranda Lambert admires Beyoncé

Singer Miranda Lambert has praised Beyoncé for being such a hard working woman in music and revealed that she's a great role model to have.

During a new interview with Rolling Stone magazine, the 'Mama's Broken Heart' beauty confessed that she looks up to Beyoncé for having the strength to stand up for herself and to carve out such an incredible career in a tough industry:

"She's a girl from Houston, and she worked her butt off to get where she is. She's not just being carted around on her chariot; she's driving it."

Last month, Lambert shared a photograph of herself posing with Destiny's Child's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame (pictured above left) and she has always been a big fan of the group and of Beyoncé in particular.

Lambert, meanwhile, recently recorded a duet with Carrie Underwood for her upcoming new albumand told Us Weekly that just reaching out and asking for the collaboration made her really nervous: "I sent her a rambling email asking her to do it. I figured she'd think I was crazy, but she wrote right back saying she was in. I was so nervous the day she came to the studio. We ended up having a blast."
