John Legend hates name-dropping: 'There's classy way to do it, and there's a tacky way'

'All Of Me' crooner John Legend has revealed that he thinks name-dropping is tacky.

When asked by the Daily Star newspaper about the things he hates, he was quick to respond and admitted that he really dislikes when people drop celebrities' names into conversations for no other reason than to brag:

"Name-dropping. In my business, people who do it a lot. There's a classy way to do it, and there's a tacky way to do it... you should be subtle about it."

He also went on to reveal that during college he was part of a group, but much prefers to perform solo: "I was in a vocal group at high school called Shades of Colour, who were like Boyz II Men. At college, I was in an a cappella group. Since I graduated, I've always been solo. I like the attention too much to share!"

Legend, meanwhile, also just confirmed details of a UK tour and he will kick off the run on October 6 at Manchester's O2 Apollo before performing in London, Nottingham, Cardiff, Birmingham, and Newcastle.
