The 1975 have added two dates to their forthcoming UK tour.

As previously reported, the Brits recently confirmed plans to play a series of shows later this year in their home country.

It was due to take place in September, with the group playing the likes of Glasgow's Barrowland and London's Alexandra Palace.

The 1975 have now added a second Manchester O2 Apollo gig on September 27 and another Alexandra Palace date on October 1.

Tickets for the new shows will go on sale today (June 6) at 9am UK time. The full schedule is now as follows:

• Thursday September 25 - Glasgow, Barrowland
• Friday 26 - Manchester, O2 Apollo
• Saturday 27 - Manchester, O2 Apollo
• Monday 29 - Wolverhampton, Civic Hall
• Tuesday 30 - London, Alexandra Palace
• October 1 - London, Alexandra Palace
