American Apparel finally responds to 5 Seconds Of Summer's 'She Looks So Perfect' lyric

Australian heartthrobs 5 Seconds Of Summer released a song earlier this year called 'She Looks So Perfect' and one of the lines in the chorus references the store American Apparel and the underwear it produces.

In the track, the guys sing "she looks so perfect standing there in my American Apparel underwear' and they recently confessed that they have never received any free clothing from the brand or acknowledgement despite the name-drop.

Now, American Apparel has finally responded to the lyric and a representative from the company explained to Fuse.TV that it's 'flattering' to be mentioned in a song and especially one as popular as 'She Looks So Perfect' because it has reached such a massive audience:

"We're flattered anytime we're mentioned in someone's music or art—especially a big summer anthem like this. Naturally, we also think women look great in our underwear."
