Justin Bieber's mother to his fans: 'I love it when you guys call me mom'

Pattie Mallette, the mother of Justin Bieber, has revealed that she loves when his fans look up to her as their own parent and call her 'mom'.

In response to one social media follower who had written to her saying, 'I love you, mom', Mallette replied and wrote: "I love it when you guys call me mom. I love you too!!! Hugs."

She then returned to her official Twitter page much earlier today (June 17) and Mallette encouraged her son's fans to let their emotions out when they feel overwhelmed and described the act of crying as being like a 'liquid prayer':

"When you stuff your pain it stays inside like poison even after years. Let it out you will feel so much better. #TearsAreLiquidPrayers. 'Leave it in the past' they say, but you have to feel it to heal it & grieve it to leave it. #DontStuffYourPain #LetItOut #ScreamIfYouHaveTo."

Back in May, the 'As Long As You Love Me' heartthrob praised his mother for being so consistently supportive and for teaching him important life lessons: "My mom has taught me how to love, forgive and believe. She is my everything."
