Lana Del Rey responds to Frances Bean Cobain over 'glamourising death' critisicm

Earlier this month, sultry singer Lana Del Rey told The Guardian newspaper that she 'wishes she was already dead' and the late Kurt Cobain's daughter, Frances Bean, hit back at her for romanticising early death.

Frances tweeted: "The death of young musicians isn't something to romanticise. I'll never know my father because he died young and it becomes a desirable feat because people like you think it's 'cool'. Well, it's f*cking not. Embrace life, because you only get one life. The people u mentioned wasted that life. Don't be one of those people."

Del Rey took to her official Twitter page earlier today (June 23) and publicly tweeted Cobain to clarify the remarks she had initially responded to:

"It's all good. He was asking me a lot a out your dad I said I liked him because he was talented not because he died young. The other half of what I said wasn't really related to the people he mentioned. I don't find that part of music glam either."
