John Barrowman has confirmed plans to tour the UK next year.

The media personality will play a series of shows across the country in May and June on his You Raise Me Up jaunt.

It will kick off on May 16 in Southend before playing cities such as Liverpool, London and Edinburgh.

Barrowman will then conclude things at Gateshead on June 8. Tickets will go on sale from 10am UK time on Friday (June 27).

The singer and actor is due to release a covers album 'You Raise Me Up' on June 30.
