Emily Eavis says Dolly Parton had biggest Glastonbury crowd she has ever seen

Emily Eavis believes Dolly Parton had the biggest crowd she has ever seen at Glastonbury.

The country icon took to the Pyramid Stage at the festival on Sunday (June 29) afternoon to much acclaim.

Speaking to Glastonbury Festivals, Eavis - who is the daughter of Worthy Farm owner Michael - said that she was overjoyed with Parton's set.

She said: "Oh Dolly was the biggest crowd I've ever seen here. She is just a truly amazing live performer.

"Her voice was incredible. And she wrote that song about mud in the morning before the show! I don't think you can beat that performance as a perfect moment here at Glastonbury."

Parton has since enjoyed a surge in sales, as well as a boost in Spotify streams.
