The Frozen soundtrack and Pharrell Williams have come out top on Billboard's mid-year bestsellers list.

The chart company have revealed that the soundtrack to Disney film Frozen has shifted 2.7 million units to make the most sold album this year so far.

Williams' hit song 'Happy' meanwhile has sold 5.6 million copies, making it the most popular track.

The Frozen soundtrack is the only record to have sold over one million units so far in 2014, with Beyoncé's self-titled effort following with 702,000 sales.

Other big hitting albums include Lorde's debut 'Pure Heroine' and Coldplay's 'Ghost Stories'.

Katy Perry's 'Dark Horse' meanwhile comes second to Williams in the singles race with 4 million sales.
