Foxes on GRAMMY win: 'They took the prize away from me and mailed it back months later'

Singer Foxes has revealed that when she won her GRAMMY for Best Dance Recording prize, which she picked up for her vocals on Zedd's track 'Clarity', the gong was taken away from her and sent back to her in the post months after the ceremony took place.

Speaking to Q magazine, the 'Youth' beauty explained that the trophy was removed from her hands shortly after it was given to her and she then received it in the mail months later:

"Receiving a Grammy is very strange. They take it back off you straight away, then it arrives in the post a few months later. When mine turned up I thought it was a package from Ikea."

Foxes recently told the Daily Star newspaper that she couldn't swear onstage because a lot of her fans in the audience are young and impressionable, so it wouldn't feel right: "I heard Miley Cyrus swore a lot when she toured recently. I don’t think I could ever do that with so many young girls in the audience.”
